This barrel is the OBSV recipe which consists of a 35% rye mashbill along with the “delicate fruitiness” yeast strain. It also boasts a strong 126.6 proof which adds to the robust mouthfeel of this Bourbon and was aged for 8 years and 7 months in Kentucky.

Nose: Caramelized cherry, sweet tarts and Cherry pie

Palate: Chewy mouthfeel with hints of baking spices with honey, caramel and cherry on the back end. (with splash of water: cherries come to life in the forefront and spice accentuates a notch, mouthfeel becomes more silky & creamy)

Finish: finishes long with warm toffee and lingering oak. (with splash of water: lingering candied cherries)
