Redstone Exclusive: Four Roses OESF SIngle barrel Bourbon
We are happy to announce the arrival of our latest hand selected Single barrel Bourbon. This particular Four Roses single barrel Bourbon is a special one indeed as thisĀ barrel only yielded a total of 42 bottles! It was bottled at 64.8% (129.6 proof) and hosts the “E” mashbill (75% corn 20% rye and 5% malted barley). The yeast used in this recipe is the “F” strain which is known for its herbal characteristics and was aged 9 years and 10 months.
For those unfamiliar with the Four Roses single barrel Ā bottlings, each barrel is unique as it will host its own unique character so you are truly getting a one of a kind bottle. Notes: Sweet up front with a punch caramel and spice, notes of apricots and dark fruits creep up in the mid palate leaving you with a seasoned toasted oak, dry citrusy finish leaving you savoring the next sip.
