Redstone Barrel Society Patron Añejo Single Barrel Tequila

Redstone Barrel Society Patron Añejo Single Barrel Tequila

We are happy to announce the arrival of our single barrel of Patron Añejo Tequila. Earlier this year we flew out to the Patron facility in Jalisco Mexico to not only see how their handcrafted tequila is made but to also sample a variety of different single barrels.

At Patron they preach consistency and obtain that by blending different barrels by hand to make sure the tequila that you are enjoying is the same experience time and time again. What we aimed to do is give you the exact opposite. While still maintaining the high quality that is Patron’s signature, we were able to select a barrel that we felt was different from their everyday offering. This Añejo was aged in French and American oak for a long 31 months (almost extra Anejo territory 36mo) and is limited to 180 bottles.

This barrel boasts notes of Vanilla, Citrus, Golden Raisin and baking spices. Medium bodied with a creamy texture and virtually no heat in the finish but instead a pleasant candied sweet vanilla coating left on your lips awaiting the next sip. Versatile enough to mix but recommended neat or with a cube. Decant for 10-15 minutes to accentuate the sweeter notes. Cube will constrict the sweet and bring forward more the baking spice notes.

Cost: $59.99/750ML
Available at Redstone Liquors Stoneham and Andover locations while supplies last.
